I have placed a calendar on my web site and it works great in Internet Explorer, but when I try to view it using FireFox or Chrome I get this message " Error content did not load"
I tried 6 times starting over and reinstalling the calendar with no success and the same error keeps coming up. As I said in Internet Explorer it working great.

Here is the web page that has the calendar on it.

Any help on this would be great
Thanks in advance

Bill - Not sure if any of the 56 errors or 19 warnings that w3's validator indicates are part of your problem or not, but I'd really look into those.

Being a novice in html I have a tendency to rely on Coffee Cup software to do what I hope it will do.
I have checked out the errors that you mentioned and have no idea what they mean or what the fix would be. I use Front page which for me is the easiest editor but I know not the best.
If I run php files I use CC direct ftp to upload the files due to incompatibility with Front page. That is about the sum of my knowledge with html and scripts. Calendar does not use Php so I assume this has to be a code problem, I assume there is some code that FireFox does not like where as Internet Explorer accepts that code. I guess I'm looking for a simple fix in the code that will make the calendar work in all browsers.

Thanks for your reply
Hopefully someone will have a simple fix.

Guess I can't find a fix for my problem, Wonder if I can get my money back for Calendar because if I can't get it to work in all browsers then it's of no use to me. Oh well buyer beware I guess.

Buyer beware! You purchased this program in 2006 Bill! :)

I tried to take a look at your page at http://www.spikeswebsite.com/News/gop_debates.htm but it is now gone.

Yes your right along with many other coffee cup programs. I played with it a few years back and it worked but then we has IE 8 and a older version on Firefox. I have had no use for calendar till now. And if you checked out my website you will see that I have used many coffee cup programs.

I posted a problem here in hopes to get an answer to it and I got one reply from Phil which I stated in my reply that I was not that HTML savvy. Anyway I played around with it for the past few days by reinstalling over and over with the same results IE worked and looked good but won't in Firefox or Chrome.
All the other CC programs Menu builder, RSS Feed, Photo, and Flash work great just Calendar if giving me a hard time.I will try again and post the link when it's up.
Thanks for responding

...IE worked and looked good but won't in Firefox or Chrome...

Even IE gives a bit of a hiccup before it displays the calendar. The error message shows up briefly, at least on my slow connection, before the calendar shows up.
In Opera 11.6, the calendar displays, but it is left-justified instead of centered.
Safari shows the same error message as Chrome and Firefox.

I think your best bet really is to follow Phil's suggestion and look into all those validation errors. I noticed that quite a number of closing tags are missing and some nested tags are incorrectly nested - or sequenced. By correcting some of the more obvious of these, I got the count down to 39 errors and 4 warnings...
It is quite possible that the cascading effects from one or more of these errors are 'contaminating' the calendar code and causing the loading error. The different browsers make different 'guesses' about the intent when they encounter these validation errors, thus the different display results.
As a test, you may want to upload the calendar on an otherwise completely empty page. If it displays correctly in the different browsers, you'll know that the fault lies with the 'other' code on the original page .

You know what they say about 'repeating the same action over and over, expecting a different result'... ;):)

The one thing I find interesting is that if I look at the source code and click on any of the .js links it comes through what looks like Japanese alphabet.:/
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks you Per, I did start with a clear page and uploaded it and it's working with all browsers.
Now hopefully I can find what is causing the problem with the true page I need to post. That will get me something to work on. Anyway thanks everyone for your help and if I came across a little testy, I apologize. This has been a frustrating week for me. I guess the older we get the more testy we get.

Here is the link just to show it works on all browsers.
