I would like to see more options for calendars. My customers have not been thrilled with the ones created by the CC Web Calendar. It needs more versatility.

One I have used that they seem to like much better is at calendars.net

It is fairly flexible but web based. It allows the users to login and make changes to their own calendar, without me having to do it for them. They also seem to like the layout and feel much better. Customer demand has dictated that I use it instead of the CC Calendar, although I would prefer to keep everything CC. ???????????

I agree with the above post in that the calendar doesn't seem to have the higher level of customizability that other CC programs seem to have. (photo gallery, form builder, etc.) I'm working with the calendar for our church which an events calendar is crucial with multiple people able to edit it. Here is my wish list of functions I would like to see on future builds.

- what the above post said about the ability to login to add, edit and delete events. I can see the calendar program being used for editing the format, but not for events. If this were web-based, then it would allow multiple people to make changes without accidently be able to overwrite with an older .xml file.

- the option of making the events panel always open on the side of the calendar instead of all of the roll-over's.

- ability to freely customize the size of the calendar, not limiting it to small, medium and large. The photo gallery does this nicely and is very easy to incorporate into an existing design.

- change the event fonts and sizes easily. Using the font tags is a lot of trouble and it messes up the mouse-over box. You're already using html text, so allowing us to choose from the five web fonts would be nice.

- customize the holiday list. Valentine's Day and Easter are nice, but Lincoln's Birthday and United Nation's Day is not really necessary.

- ability to scale the background. Right now, when applying a background, the picture gets blown up with no ability to change the size. I've looked all over the forums and FAQ's and found nothing regarding this.

The web calendar is a good tool, but it could be a great tool if it was a little more customizable. I understand a wish list like this is easier said than done, but if the calendar doesn't mature like the other CC software, then I may have to use another calendar from somewhere else. I would be willing to pay more for a "Pro" version or something along those lines to get the functionality I'm looking for.

-Thanks

One feature I think that would really make the calendar really cool is if it could tie in with an email server and be able to email people from a list reminders before an even occurs.

I wish the calendar looked more like a regular calendar where you could show the month or year by clicking on it. It would be nice if when you clicked on a month it would show all the days and events for all the days at the same time as a normal calendar would. I guess this would be PHP not flash then?

It would be great to have the functionality of the free google calendar but highly customizable which google lacks. A great function of this calendar is the map link if you input the complete address of the event. Mail lists are also nice

Hi I would like to add great software I use it on a Jag site. I see that it has been mentioned regading the font size. what would be the easiest way to change the font size for the slide in events page as this is rather small.

Many thanks

It would make it better if just hovering over a day with an event(s) brought the drop box in showing all the events for the day. This would save clicking on dates.

Also the font size in the calendar drop boxes (event desc) needs to be bigger by default.
