I just ordered my first laptop (yeah!) with Windows 8. Did I just shoot myself in the foot? I'm using HTML editor ver. 12.6 build 48. Are there compatibility issues? I can cancel the laptop, my coffeecup software is more important!

Most on Windows 8 don't have many issues at all, I'm on windows 8 64 bit and it all works fine for me. Only a handful of programs that I've had to set to run as administrator, other than that smooth sailing for the most part. There are a handful of people that have had issues, but I wouldn't cancel the laptop for it as it's few and far between for those with issues. Good luck with the new computer!
