Too much Coffeecup Software

As mentioned in my thread title, I have far too much CC software. All of this has been purchased and used at different stages of my webmaster training and has helped me to get to the level I am now at. Unfortunately I have out-aged quite a lot of the software that I have on my account as my levels of experience have become more and more advanced. I do still use quite a lot of my CC software but many of them I no longer have a use for.
Basically what I was wondering was whether or not it is possible to sell on any software from my account to others? I understand that it is not the usual question that you may get asked but it seems like such a waste. I have also paid a LOT of money for all this software so it would be nice to get a little something back for them but at least 50% cheaper than new?
Is there anything I can do or do I just have to keep a hold of it? Thank you

As I understand it, a big (HUGE) advantage of CC software is that CC maintains an account using your email address as an identifier (I think), from this account the owner can check for and download free updates.
Apart from liking CC Editor as a program, it's this feature that has me locked in firmly as a CC fan.

Anyone buying your software wouldn't be able to access free updates (Again, I think. If someone with more savvy than me disagreees with this I'm sure they get on this thread and say so, and I'll stand corrected).

They have licences out for multiple copies of there products, so I would guess re-selling is something they do not permit.

Open a support ticket and ask them you will get straight and correct answer, but the only right way of doing it if you did sell the software is to give the person who pays you money access to your account so they can change the password and email account, but that might be a no-no to, send them an email and see what they say.

That is correct. Also, there no way for us to guarantee that the seller even deleted the software nor has any backups. They could sell and unlimited number of applications for a low price. I am sure this is not your plan, but we have to just protect ourselves a bit here. ;)

I feel for for you sh00ta. It's a bummer when you spend several hundred dollars on software that you can't sell. Business practices change. End user license agreements change. Pro lines are added for better features and usability. Upgrade pricing policies change. :(

Sh00ta, I too feel your pain(my pain is always needing more money, OUCH), but maybe it's an opportunity to learn how to use the software for IM or something. I have a site that a decent amount of it was build with CC and brings in several thousand a year- just saying if you need cash that might be the answer. A place to start is possibly with webmaster forums and installing CC applications VS. selling the software.:)

Well Shoota, it's great that you've developed yourselves tremendously, thanks to CC's products, and I think that's definitely worth far more, and where I dare say even more valuable, than any amount of re-selling the said softwares. :)
My tee shirt site http://www.teedojo.com, warmly and fuzzily done with SCC + SCD. I kinda like it even if I've yet to sell any shirts! Hah!

Catch me and say hi!. I don't bite, but I will help you with your website so you can kickstart your web presence today.
