If you want to have some real fun, take a snapshot of someones desktop, delete all the desktop icons, and save the snapshot as the wallpaper.

So! YOU are the one who publishes screen shots which include the red "X button", with the full knowledge that the people looking at it will frustrated as they try to close the window by repeatedly clicking on the image button instead of the OS one. Admit it!

Of course I would never click on the wrong button. :P
I do admit to standing at a street corner and pounding away at the "Press To Walk" button just to make sure the lights really do change (and I have a technical background too).
Then I step back and watch the guy behind me step forward and do the same.
In our defence I must say that the pedestrian lights in Darwin city are remarkably consistent and never miss a beat - thanks to efforts of a whole group of pedestrians like me.

Then there's the upside down desktop trick...which I can never remember...

haha awesome idea, screenshot of an upsidedown desktop that would be classic! Don't forget to hide the task bar and have the screenshot have the taskbar at the top upsidedown lol.

Not a screenshot you can actually make the desktop appear upside down. Its done use a few key strokes but can never remember what it is.

I'll try and google it but google has changed their layout and I can't find anything now!

Here you go....

"This is a really funny prank to pull on your friends if they have an XP computer. To turn the windows display 180 degrees (or upside down) simply press Ctrl-alt-down arrow. To set it back simply press Ctrl-alt-up arrow. Note: this only works on XP and it depends on your graphics card."
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

And if you want to just go 90' either way you can try the Ctrl-alt-left or right arrows

Apparently cats and 2 year olds are very good at setting this prank up so very useful to know how to fix it ...

Hey Tassie, that is funny! Works just as described on my setup! :D

And then, when you try to use the mouse, it gets even better!
