I had my gift programme already too, but I wouldn't even dream about critisizing a gift.

But a hint for CC if they want to give out gifts next year: Maybe give one theme that they pick and let us pick the other one ourselves. How's that?

Yes, I really shouldn't criticize. I think that giving away a program as good as Web Image Studio Lite is actually very generous on Coffeecup's part. Anyone who just joined up here should be thrilled (as I would be). CC actually gave me an excellent deal on WIS this past summer.

But I like your suggestion of a free theme or maybe a discount code, applicable to certain products or product categories. The latter was actually what I was hoping for.

Fair enough, but that misses the point. It would be like my buying you a book this past July, a book you had wanted to read and one that you ultimately finished by the end of the summer. Then several months later I say to you "hey - I got you a surprise gift, but you can't open it until Christmas. However, please tell everyone you can."

You honor my requests and then, feeling silly about it later, you set aside a moment on Christmas and open my gift to you - only to find it's the same book I bought you over the summer. You'd probably feel that I put no thought into the latter gift, even though you had done what I asked in getting the word out about me and my doings (and had been a supportive client the past few years).

Anyway, I don't want or feel entitled to anything. And I will continue to use and recommend Coffeecup products. I think it was great that the company gave away Image Studio Lite - that worked out really well for anyone who didn't already have it. It's good software, as I recall from the short time I tinkered with it before upgrading to the full version.

Michael, I don't think I'm not the only one that thought the same as you. You just happened to be the one that posted it here.
