Strange phone call

I keep getting phone calls from somebody whose number starts with 007812. The 00 is probably the international prefix, but I can't figure out where the calls come from. The voice sounds eastern European, but as soon as I start asking who this is (in English or German), the person rings off with a 'sorry'.

Anyone here who knows where the call might be from?

He doesn't get the clue, huh?

I remember I would get a call once a month from this elderly lady asking for someone else. After a year of so, I finally had to break the news to her that she should remove that card from the rolodex because her friend no longer had the phone number. Never heard from her again. :)

I used to have a number that ended in 4128. A popular pizza place in our area ended in 4218. We would get calls all the time placing ordered. I finally just started taking orders. One time I got all excited and told them they were the 10,000th customer and the won a free meal and $100.

I so would have loved to have been there when they picked up their food. ;)

My phone number ends with 9110. I don't have to tell you the kind of phone calls I have gotten through the years.

Thanks Capt'n Kirk for telling me where the call comes from. I don't know what Japanese language sounds like, I thought it was Eastern European.

BTW, a friend of mine who is a child minder has a phone number just one digit different from a nearby undertaker. You can imagine what kind of calls she sometimes gets. Not to mention what the undertaker gets...

Jo Ann, to me you need to say more. The name of your husband may perhaps be associated with something weird in America, but to people in Norway it's just - well a name.
