Over the past couple months, my website ranking has dropped from #3 on google, to page 3. Anyone else notice ranking drop?

Also, how can I have the spiders update the content on my website all the time like some websites.

Has anyone used google's webmaster tools, and found that it sees broken / unresponsive links to your forum? I use simplemachines forum.

I am no expert but I assume you have listed in many search engines. There is a lot of information on SEO on the internet.

I guess that's what web owners pay big bucks for. Meta tags, Descriptions and Keywords in the pages help. But to agree with you my hits dropped from the begining of this month. Luckily I have a user base an an active forum that keeps it all ticking over.

You have to give something away. A freebie, or information just offering a service is not enough.

Also a site needs updating every few months. Other than that being at # 3 you probably know all that. I am still waiting for a check from Google so maybe something is up.

Add the metatag Robots follow I think thats the one but something like that causes the spiders to relook at the content. I checked my site. Remember it's the search(Keyword) that should be at #1. I am still trying with my inkmon site Keyword Universal Ink Monitor. Getting words in bold and worded several times in a page helps. I listen to help from Google Adsence. Its in their interest for us to have successful sites.

I just checked and I am floating around the top. It is also strange that they have got my form page up there too. And my cheque arrived oh happy days. I can repay my credit card for the purchase of form builder.

I have no formular but even posting in a forum like this helps. I am considering placing a sign in the back window of my car for promotion.
