Hi George...yes but we want to know how to get in and find the hidden treasures :D

Perhaps if we all knock loudly they will let us in .....
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

Yea, not sure why they do that. Its like saying that SCCpro is going to be released in December and then doesn't arrive until April, and then WAM! your hit with a half nude pic of ABBA.

A google search found this... Could be a lead

Need a place to store your files?

Creating your web page and need to publish the files?

You now have available to you your own space on the UNIX system called the S drive.

You can save or drag files to this space so that they are available the next time you access the S drive.

If you have created a UAlbany webpage, you can update your page by saving or dragging HTML files to the public_html folder on the S drive.

In Information Commons and the ITS supported electronic classrooms, the S drive is automatically mapped for you when you log onto the computer.

See the links below for instructions for accessing the S drive from the user rooms, your office, dorm or home.

Sorry some of us aren't "Senior Advisors" *Cues Theme Music*

The way you are describing it reminds me of a CMS, but CC vowed they would not do that.

Did someone say old ladies? Well, here's one very curious old broad :D
George - I found that same thing yesterday. Is that a typical S-Drive? Intriguing......

S Drive has many meanings.
"The S Drive is a bipolar, recirculating, microstepping drive that runs two-phase permanent
magnet hybrid step motors. The drive uses MOSFET technology to give high performance
in a small package while providing short-circuit protection, brownout protection, overtemperature
protection, and a built-in power supply. The S Drive is compatible with all
Compumotor indexers."

Is CC getting into the motor business? I doubt it.....
