Excel is actually the programme I use most - after some CC progs

Excel is not an editor, it's a spread sheet programme, and it can do calculations, keep lists that are related to each other, a basic, flat database can also be done in Excel. I have sometimes used it to calculate how much tax I'm supposed to pay against what I actually have paid, that way I will know if I owe the state or if they owe me.

I use it for a lot of things but lately have been using to manipulate php variables where I have the name but need to add all the rest of the code surrounding it. Beats the heck out of typing them when you can drag down and fill in. I also use it to create a csv to import to a MySql database.
