Yeah I was looking at the device information yesterday myself after reading this thread, and all the information shows that it will run Windows software up through Windows 8, but doesn't say anywhere at all how that software is installed on it or if it's talking about pre-installed software or whatever. No information anywhere that I could find on what software it was talking about, just that it is "supposed" to be able to run Windows software.....

I would also like the answer to that question. :)

From what I read the Surface Pro will run all windows apps but the Surface RT will only run new Windows apps from the Windows Store.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I bought a Surface RT and they didn't have very many app's available on the app store, so I repacked and returned. Figured I'll wait a while before I jump head first into buying a tablet.

Yeah the Pro is what I was looking at on a few sites, and no info on how those programs get onto the tablet, only that it can run them.

Google is my best friend now, I was talking about something I purchased before me and Google touched bases. Now I don't really look forward to buying tablets, i'm in love with my desktop / laptop PC's :)

Personally I use yahoo.com. You can find so much more there. No one uses Google Matt. ;)
