I've been a big fan for some time of Marc Andreessen's work for some time now so I was excited to see what he would come up with nest. Unfortunately, his newest internet browser requires a facebook account (I guess this makes sense since it integrates with Facebook), which I don't have the time or inclination to do right now.

Has anyone downloaded his latest creation http://www.rockmelt.com/ and what do you think?

Thanks,

-Levi

Well it looks cool, but to be honest (not to be a negative person as it's not a reflection on the programers themselves, just a reflection on the jerks that hack so much) I don't install or use anything that needs to be signed in via another program or site. Too much risk involved when you're logging into one site to access another that those ID's and PW's can be passed to someone through their software/website. I know this limits me, but oh well lol. I see no reason why anyone should have to log into a browser by using an ID and PW from another website. Just my paranoia I guess lol.

Every time you type a user name and password into a browser without using encryption, it passes through hardware owned by other people, and can be intercepted. :)
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

yeah I know, but why risk adding "another" avenue for your info to have to pass though :P

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
