Hi all,
I want to upload some files to my website. So I am looking for an advanced FTP client software solution designed for ease of use by both novices and professionals. It should be powerful and secure file transfer solution. It should also have total control, security, efficiency, and simplicity. If you people have any idea then please let me know.
Thanks in advance!

Jeff,

There are two FTP programs here on the CoffeeCup website. Direct FTP has a trial version you can check out to see if it meets your needs. In the free software, you can find the CoffeeCup free FTP and again, download it and check it out to see if it solves your problem.

If you don't like these, there are many others available at http://download.com including some that are free, some that are free for a period, and others that require payment.

I have tried some from download.com, and while they worked, they didn't suit me. I also found one there that I like and use (Filezilla) and I like and use the CoffeeCup Direct FTP. I especially like that I can use Direct FTP and make quick edits to my web site.

I use ws_ftp from ipswitch. Have used it for years and like it. I think they had/have a free version, but I opted for the paid program.
You can check them out at ipswitch.com

Hi, I use *removed* when I need file transfer. It is a free platform independent file transfer application that supports all major file transfer protocols including FTP/S, SFTP and WebDAV/S. *removed* is available both as a web based service requiring no software installation, and as a downloadable application that you can install locally. Hope this will help you.
All the best!

For some strange reason, there's been a recent plague of forum spamming that's hit us lately. Tweedledee asks a random question and Tweedledum hops in a with a solution dropping a name and link to an app, of course never being CoffeeCup or even related to web design half of the time. Well, the first & last post in here are no exception. I'm sure you guys have noticed the random questions lately, asking about things like routers, linux & open source software. We go through the trouble of helping these posters only to find out by Google the same questions are being flooded word-for-word on countless other forums (& they hardly ever or never respond afterward). At least some of Tom & Bill's responses to the randomness were rather hilarious. ;)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
