Boom! Bang! Boom!

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

We don't get our big firework display for another couple of weeks, then it's big party time for us too...

Hopefully I can see some from the near-by mall.

Aren't you a little short for a Storm Trooper?
Thanks Janys & everyone else too, and same to all who celebrate the holiday too!
Best wishes to our American cousins (from Australia).
The Northern Territory celebrated independence from Australia's federal government (though we're still a territory, not a full state as yet) on July 1st.
Meaning that we have our own home grown politicians to despise instead of the just the idiots in the nation's capital, Canberra.
This is the only place in Australia where fireworks aren't banned.
The authorities pronounced the celebrations a "success" - despite several people hospitalised for serious injuries, some getaway fires requiring attention from the brigade, and lost dogs trailing broken leads wandering all over the place.
