You know I'm back again with another techie question!

I'm wondering if there might be a way to "clean up" FireFox & maybe make it run a bit faster. It runs fine, but ya know, I like speed :)

I have several Addons & I'm wondering if they might be slowing down FireFox. Some of them I just have to keep, like the Multirow bookmarks toolbar thingie. But I noticed that there are several "Java Console" addons, versions:

6.0.16
6.0.20
6.0.17
6.0.22
6.0.21
6.0.23

Should I uninstall/remove all but the latest version?

And also there is something called Microsoft.NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1

Do I need that? LOL

I know I could Google all this, but y'all know how I am :)

No rush on any of this!

Luv y'all!

And btw, I don't actually say "y'all" in real life. :D

The Microsoft .net Framework assistant
enables Firefox to use the ClickOnce technology that is included in the .NET Framework. The .NET Framework Assistant is added at the computer level so that its functionality can be used by all users at the computer level instead of at the user level. As a result, the Uninstall button is unavailable in the Firefox Add-ons menu because standard users are not permitted to uninstall machine-level components.
-Microsoft.

However, if you really want to uninstall it here are detailed instructions: :D http://support.microsoft.com/kb/963707 .

I find it handy and would personally leave it installed.
