You can use any graphics program you want to create/save your image. For images with few colors, you can save as a .gif or .png For photographs, best to save as .jpg for use on a website.

Once your image is created you can use the editor and import it into the web page. There is an 'image wizard' to help with that, and it will write the code for you. Do remember to Save your web page before imserting images so that the path to the file is correct in the code.

I'm using the HTML Editor to just change some minor text on my website. I open up the site and delete the text I want gone. I preview it and it looks great. I save it and then upload it to the server.

I go to the website itself and the text is still there.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Has anyone experienced this issue before or is it just me ?

Just a thought, Saxon, old bean, but have you tried saving your changes before previewing.

I believe so, but I can't recall right now if I've previewed it and then saved it or vice versa. I wasn't aware this would cause a problem. I will try it again later tonight and save the changes before previewing it since it is a very simple change to the text.

No such luck. I tried to save it then preview it. I tried saving it, uploading it to the server and then going to the live website. Nada .. nothing seems to work. I can't change the text on the site :(

Okay, this will show everyone what a true newbie I am with websites and HTML. I wasn't saving the "working" file correctly. I was naming it different things instead of "index". A friend who uses CoffeeCub told me to save the working file as Index and presto, everything works fine now. Thanks for everyone's help and advice, I'm sure I'll drive you all crazy in another post sooner than later, lol.
