I am getting more and more into website development, using more and more of the Coffee Cup tools. I am finding many service businesses need to schedule appointments.

Think of a HAIR SALON as good representative business for this package: One business, six hair stylists, each of which needs to have an appointment calendar where they can say what days they are working, and that their clients can use to book appointments online. When appointments are booked, an email/text is sent to the stylist, the calendar is automatically updated, and the client has the option of also receiving a confirmation text/email.

It would be GREAT if we could get a package/tool that would allow us to put such a feature on our clients' websites.

Is it possible you might be bringing out such a package soon?

There are 2 possible ways to achive this although there is nothing fully automated as you describe using CC products.
But you could try CC calendar software. Create 6 calendars one for each sylists. Customers cannot book online youwould need a CMS system to achieve that. But they could view your calendars on your web site and either phone or email to see if a slot is free for booking. You would have to take the booing and add it to your calendar.
The other way is to use CC html editor or VSD and create an appointmets table for each stylist. Again your customer wuld have to phone/email for an appointment and you would enter the appointment into the table.
I created a clubhouse booking webpage for our rugby club based on CC html editor. Its a simple but effect method. People lok to see if the clubhouse is booked on the day and if not email/phone to book.
