It's definitely not a Senior Advisor thing as I don't see years in the thread list at all for any threads. Posts I see it on, but not on the threads ever.

There's the problem I'm confused Posts it is. Sorry.
I was looking at the original post that started this issue and didn't realize we switched it to a thread.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Yeah he says posts, but I'm pretty sure he means threads not posts :P

I confess, I did mean threads. The point is to be able to look at the thread summary and quickly decide whether or not it's worth drilling into the posts.

Yes, I looked just like that in 1962.

I don't see how only adding the date to when a thread was originally posted would make me decide to open it or not. We get a lot of new users that will open a thread and post for help because they either don't understand the forum setup or they pick the first one that looks close to what they need help on.:) I was thinking that the tread title was the thread summary.;)

By the way, to answer the subject of this thread... 1957 is the year it was posted. :P

Well see Eric, if I were searching the forums for an answer, and I saw a few posted answers, most likely if they were dated I would choose the most recent one. Or... if say the thread was years old, I may actually think about starting a new thread instead of bringing up an old old one. :P

But if you were choosing from an answer then you would be choosing from a post and they have the date with the year.:P

Do a search for the word

test

in all forums etc. and then tell me the year is there :P It's definitely not lol

Because of that you could get a group of posts all with similar date areas and all be from different years, you have to open the posts to see then, just a lot of added steps to have to make during a search :)

So now were talking about a search. Are we changing the subject just to test me or make me more confused.:) Now were going to need to split this thread.
