Hi, I bought Sitemapper some time ago but after some initial trials never really got it to work my way...

Now I have to use A sitemapper tool, tried again and wish I had returned it those days...

why does it have to be this complicated??

ie.: I just want to have a xml file, but for some reason SM thinks I want it all

or: uploading the file to the server (esp with all the css stuff) is only producing errors

so how can I stop this thing from trying to do HTML sitemaps?? all I want is XML (right now)

and why i s it very easy to adress the right server folder with ie. GSItecrawler, but impossible for me at least with CC SM ...

anything I missed ?? Thank you

a very frustrated

Hi Skywalker89, Just grab the xml file generated by SM out of the folder you saved the site map in and ftp it up to your site. You don't have to use the HTML files.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Are you having problems with getting the site mapper scheduler to work? Or do you only want to automate uploading the XML file?

Hi Eric,

thanks... I only want (as of now) a automatically updated xml sitemap at the right adress on the server for google to find...

I didn't even get to the scheduler yet.

I again gave up frustrated and installed a server sided PHP script...since no experience, it was some work but that somehow was still easier than getting sitemapper to work my way...

and this "cannot create folders" etc...Sm was not supposed to do anything like that, all I want is a xml file

Thnaks a lot again
