I just bought Sitemapper (by itself, and not with the design pack options) and downloaded it. When I try to install the .exe file, I get an error saying the file is not a valid Win 32 application.

Running Windows 7, which Sitemapper says is ok.

I'll try using the trial version to see if that works on my system.

Thanks,

Toni

That error means the download did not complete and Windows does not know what to do with the file. Delete that file and re-download the software again.

Twice with the same, so I'll try again. Third time's a charm! :-)

Make sure you have no download managers or another 3rd party application intercepting the download as well. Since you the trial downloaded, that probably isn't the case, but who knows ;)

if you experience the same thing, try uninstalling, delete the download, clean your windows cache (temp files, temp internet files, etc.) and then reboot and try again. Thanks to Scott suggesting this a while back when we had some other issue, this helped a few of us, maybe it will for you too.

Might try using CCleaner too.
