With the existing host server, when you FTP files you first, after you log in, you first have to open a folder called Public.html. After you open this folder you then can load your files.
My question for Sitemapper to work properly do I upload the files that Sitemapper has created before the Public.html folder or do I open up the Public.html folder then upload the files?

Hi there,

You'll need to upload the files in the public_html directory for them to work properly.

I tried to upload my files to the public_folder of my site. Still GoogleSitemapper comes back with error message. If you don't mind walking me through this, I'd appreciate it.

In my public folder I have 3 websites setup. For this one mybluebags it would be public-folder/thebluebags/files

I see the sitemapper files when i upload them in Coffee Cup Direct FTP 6.2. after uploading them do i need to Save to Web? or they already there? if they are there, then I go back to GoogleSitemapper, hit the back button to get to the Upload to Server/Submit to google screen. When I go to the Google screen, it asks me for the URL location of the sitemap file ending in xml...so, when i put wwww.thebluebags.net/sitemapper.xml it says it's not found. i've tried www.thebluebags.net/public-folder/thebl … mapper.xml but no go. what am i doing wrong?
