Thank you both very much. I fixed the error on the spacing, but I still got the following error when I tried to submit to google.

Unable to execute file
There is no application associated with the given filename extension.

So I cannot submit to google. Any answers?

Thanks for the meta tags info. That is very useful information.

Hi Sergio, I just created a sitemap from your website.
Did you select "Create SiteMap by spidering my Website"?
I did and CC Google SiteMapper listed 11 files.
I saved it and it would be ready to upload to your server or click on the button to "Submit to Google" at this point. You would need to upload the 5 required files .html, .sm. and three .gif files to your server.

You could create your own account and then submit your sitemap from there.

Webmaster Tools

It is pretty easy to use and gives you a few stats.

Darcie Jean,

I went through google sitemapper and uploaded the files and still get the error message of

Unable to execute file
There is no application associated with the given filename extension.

The upload went through and the 5 files are on my server however the submit to google button does not spider the sight.

What would be in my code if the spidering was successful?

Hi Serigo,

I would suggest that you create an account and go through Google, as Jim suggested. Let us just see if your site is accepted this way. And then we can look more into why Google SiteMapper did not work properly. I wander why you only got five files and my Sitemapper retrieved 11?

If you already have an account with Google, all you do is log in. If not, it is quite easy to create an account.

The link is in Jim's post to you.

Hi Serigo,

I have another suggestion.
Do you have a Google Account? If not, create an account. When you log in go to your Webmaster Tools/Sitemap. If you sitemap.xml file is listed and shows it has errors, delete the file.
Then do this?
Create a new SiteMap with CoffeeCup Sitemapper, but do not click on button to submit through CoffeeCup's Option.
Upload the necessary files to your server.
Log into your Google Account and go to Webmaster Tools/Sitemap.
Submit your .xml file.

See if this works for you.
