I created a component from the flex tutorial. I added it to the component library.
Now I am attempting to add it into a container within a tab component from the component library.
I’m confused on the nesting limitations.
I tried copying the source column into the target container. No
I added a subgrid into the target container and tried copying the source column into the target container. NO
I tried adding the source component into the target container using the component tab using the + button , NO.
Looking at the inspector view, for reference, you can see the source column listed directly below the target container.
Can it be done?
How?

Thank You

Please post your *.rsd project file. There are a lot of variables. For instance, when you added the component, it does it include a row as an outer element, and if so - it can only be added as a new row.

Not sure if this is relevant, but if your created component is based on a column (meaning the outer entity of it is a column), you cannot nest a column into anything. It has to start with a container.

What you are doing is not quite clear to me. Do you mind posting your source file?

Yes, and what Bill is saying. Rows also cannot be nested.
