I used CC Menu Builder to make the menu inserted into HTML element. It all works great on the home page in desktop view, mobile horizontal view (same as tablet). It even works great on mobile vertical view (the next breakpoint down) on the home page. But NOT on the other pages where at this breakpoint the mobile menu disappears BEHIND the first row of content.
For example if you view this page: http://65.60.26.206/~rjconstruction/roo … phalt.html on a phone in vertical view the menu disappears behind the first row of text content when you touch MENU and you can't see or touch the bottom half of the menu. Works fine in the next breakpoint up which is horizonal view (tablet) on a phone.
Here are the resources:
RSD file: http://65.60.26.206/~rjconstruction/tem … uction.rsd
Menu Builder file: http://65.60.26.206/~rjconstruction/templates/menu.mb
The only difference between the home page (where menu works on vertical view without a problem) and the other pages (where it doesn't work) is that I have a Slideshow on the home page which I hide in vertical view and replace it with a static image (because the text in the slideshow at this breakpoint disappears off the side of the screen which is UGH!). On the other pages where the problem occurs I just have a static image where the home page slider is located on the home page. So very confusing as to why the menu is disappearing BELOW the image, BEHIND the text block which it does not do on the home page.
So I guess I could fix it by adding a much taller image on each and every one of the 40 pages in the vertical view and then hide the existing image but to be honest why should I have to do that? Why doesn't the menu show ABOVE the text row instead of just showing above the image? As a graphic designer I know how to move elements to the front in a graphic design, but how do I do it in RSD?
Yes, this is a complicated design but that's what you get when you deal with clients who want things in a certain way. ARGH!
Any ideas to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
