Dear Support,

For which applications and possibilities do you use components or symbols in the design of a Web site.
I would like to develop a header, navigation menu, and footer in my index page and that when adding other pages that these elements in the right positions and placement with the correct CSS settings
How can you do that and can I find somewhere a roadmap or a video of?

With Kind regards
Stephane

I don't remember off the top of my head now if CC has an explanation for this, but I think they have in their knowledge base. If not, you can find a link to a how-to in my sharing library. It tells you how to create components. Symbols are made in the same way, but you cannot store anything as a symbol. It has to be stored as a component.

A component is a block of elements that you use often. These can be saved and uploaded to your account for future use across the current website or even across multiple projects. Please note that these are static and do not update across the project when you change it in one place.

A symbol is a block of elements that you can use across one single project. Unlike the component, once setup and duplicated across several pages (i.e menu, footer, etc) when you change it in one place it will change it on all the pages in the single project.
