Hi Forum persons

Very frustrating this Webform buider.
Im constructing a site that contains a contact form. I HAVE TO EXPORT this from Webform Builder and use the manual server settings as the clients website is on a hosted server (Godaddy) so i cant use SDrive. Im not sure if this makes any difference, but i have my email through Google Apps (there a Cname records on my server in order to do this). At the moment im trying to get the form to work using one of my own email addresses through Google Apps.(its a .co.uk not an @gmail.com address)
Ok so ive called my email tim@onion.com just to keep it simple....
the screen shots in the zip file go through the process ive done so hopefully someone can work out were its all gone pear shaped.
Ive up loaded the contact form folder and PHP file to the same level on the web site as the page HTML file as it should be using filezilla
1. A screen shot of the error message
2. Is this correct the email5 setting?
3. Notification settings?
4. Confirm email settings?
5. Confirm message (probably nothing to do with it but who knows)

Basically i just want the form or the form contents emailed to an email address! You would think that wouldn't be so B%^&dy difficult would you!

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Angry Tim

Tim, you are overthinking this entire process. ;)

First, SMTP settings only need to be configured for Windows hosting servers. As far as I can see gaiaforms.com is not a Windows server, so that means you don't even have to worry about that. Second, even if you needed to configure the SMTP settings, this has nothing to do with Google Apps. The SMTP settings are defined by the server where the form is hosted. You will get that info from your hosting provider if it is required.

All you need to do is go to Settings > Notification tab To: enter your email address. That is where the form results will go. This is how it should then look:

There is also a much simpler path you can take. You do have an S-Drive account Tim at http://abouttheform.coffeecup.com/. Why not publish your form to S-Drive and then just paste in the markup code into the page you want the form to appear? Using S-Drive requires no uploading of any files and makes it so much faster for editing and maintaining forms. Given the confusion here, S-Drive would be the perfect solution for you.

Happily and successfully converting from working HTML site to RSD. Using Form Builder and almost everything CC offers for years. For testing I am trying to add contact form that has worked for years in production. Using HTML element in a RSD row--just for testing--at bottom of page.
Using GoDaddy.
I FTP things to GoDaddy. Form appears. I enter data and Submit and get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function quoted_printable_encode() in D:\Hosting\7528996\html\contact_form\fbapp\php\mailer.cls.php on line 104

Before I go too far I want to know if Tim Corke fixed his problem which is almost exactly same as mine.

Yes, test on S-Drive works--at least I get no error.
Live in a steady joy!

Without seeing the form, I would have to say you are running PHP 5.2.17 but PHP 5.3 or higher is required.

Also, since you are on a Windows IIS server, you will also need to manually customize your SMTP settings. You can find instructions here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … m-builder/

You may find using S-Drive is far easier. ;)
