How do you install a vCard in RSD. I've got the icon but what is the procedure for the rest?

I placed the vcard (.vcf) in a folder - it opens instead of downloads. I href linked to the file so now it opens in the browser - what do they do to make it download instead of open

I found an old command that seems to work but its very old and it said that safari doesn't support it. Just place the word download after the last " - href=file download.

Is this a good solution?
Can I add this in RSD or do I have to do it in editor like have now?
Is there a better solution?
