using symbol with different results

I use symbol to announce date bound happenings - like "Closed because of holidays from xx.xx. to xx.xx".
When holidays are over I just hide the "holiday" container inside the symbol container - next holidays I make it visible again.
HOWEVER I just found, when I hide the container I will get 2 different results.
Calling my site with www. the hoidden container is still visible - I get the site with the cointainer closure message while calling the site without www. I get the actualized site = the holiday container is hidden.
I have now inserted an .htaccess file to load only the site wthout www - but don't understand what or why this is happening.
When I call the site in SD it shows allways the version without www.

That is very strange behavior. So to be clear, you say that www.yourwebsite.com the hidden symbol behaves as it should but yourwebsite.com does not? That doesn't even make sense and I do not believe this is an issue with the SD software. I would be checking with your host. I have 100's of websites built with SD and none of them display this issue.

Sorry Steve and Eric - you are right - Now all is good.
I just deleted the .htaccess file from my webpage account to show you what's happening - but the wrong version = old version - didn't show up any more. So maybe it was a cache problem - - miracles happen. Next time I will show you ...
