Building a site for a friend that is starting a gun shop. He would like to be able to add pictures and a list of current inventory. I have been messing with Facebook and Instagram content on another site but they have some pretty strict rules on anything gun related. Any recommendations for easy addins that would allow him this capability without having to teach him to update his own site?

I swear by Surreal CMS for providing my clients the ability to edit their own website. Very easy to use.

I have used Surreal too. Very easy to set up and use. It is not free however but relatively cheap at $10 per month per website.
