I did as you suggested and as before, the image was deleted. However, when I clicked on the "New Gradient" button, the image popped back into view. I'm puzzled as to why an image pops up when the "New Gradient" button is pressed. It only happens on the Contact page, but works properly on the index page (where I was able to delete the image and then add a background color and gradient).

Hi Nick,
I have been told by xc support some of the images are applied to classes. Try deleted the image then hit applied to then try the adding the gradient.

Both the Class and the Id have the image assigned to it. Reset background image on both.

That fixed the problem!
