Take a look at my sharing page, https://eikweb.com/sharing . In the 'Other' section I have a scroll-to-top thingie, with a html element containing the target script for the floating button. You can place that html element wherever you need it on a page, it doesn't have to be at the top.
BTW, You have forgotten Hawaii in that list of states

I'll ask the client - I think it might be continental at this time but I have forgotten!
Will check out the button
Thanks!

Exactly what I was looking for but I don't understand enough of the workings to get it in there. I will just set up and anchor and add it the each section. I can make it go to the states listed instead of the top of the page. Most importantly - I know how to do that!!!
Thanks

Hi Byron & Inger
Sorry to but in at this late stage, but I have another sort of solution for Byron
Rather than thinking about buttons be there only 1 that sticks to the bottom & scrolls back up, or a lot on each section, which in my humble opinion will not be such a good visual experience for visitors
How about making the list of towns the sticky menu type
I have made a short demo video showing how such a thing could look & work.
https://youtu.be/zeaL8Q_XoXM
although I do have to say, Byron, that it does involve a bit more work than using buttons, but have a look-see and if you think it could be something you might find useful, then I can do you a "How To" video

Hi there,
How about a simple FontIcon Link in a fixed position that links to the city list and remains for example in the lower part of the screen?

I honestly think a floating button, or Wayan's suggestion, would be best in this case. By the looks of it, it is going to be a page as long as a rolled-out loo roll, so just one link at the bottom won't do.

I thought more of a button like the one I put on my page in the Info panel, which stays put while you scroll down. https://www.orphelion-ensemble.com/

Actually, that IS a floating button...
It floats relatively to the page contents, but stays put in relation to the viewport.

Lost in translation...
What I wanted to say is that maybe Byron can adopt a CSS only solution in order to not burden the page with another script and style declaration in the page itself.
