The video was done in FireFox on the live link you posted earlier. Can you not reproduce this? It is the same on Firefox and Edge.

The thing is that when you resize the window, one needs to refresh when that menu thing disappears

There is a silent movie on the way showing it for Firefox

In the meantime, I have to ask why would the visitors to your site want to manually re-size their browser window? and if they did, then they should also know about having to refresh the page, it's quite common knowledge

I will do one also for Edge when the Firefox one has uploaded

Yes, but isn't that rather a bug than a feature?
Later, I'll try to build a responsive menu according to the foundation site instructions. https://get.foundation/sites/docs/responsive-navigation.html
But it seems the breakpoints are overridden by the internals of the javascripts involved and can only be handled via
hide-for = "small/medium/large"
, whatever sizes those words stand for...

Its got nothing to do with site designer and I have to ask again why would normal (for want of a better word)visitors viewing the site want to manually re-size anyway

Sure, it is essentially a foundation issue. I made a quick video to illustrate the experience of a mobile phone user who switches between landscape and portrait format.

I agree, it is a non issue for desktops or laptops, but for any mobile user it might be anything between cosmetic and annoying.

The sizes stand for the part from zero to the first breakpoint (=small), between the two breakpoints (=middle) and after the 2nd breakpoint (=large).

We have had similar requests once or twice before about altering the point where the menu changes from 'hamburger' style (sorry, no pun intended! ;) ) to wide, and some people have come up with more or less working solutions. The one from Wayan is by far the best one I've seen so far, although I also at first forgot to activate the br.points!

Ha en riktig god dag!

As I have mentioned already, there aren't any problems with switching between portrait or landscape with any of the 12 mobile devices (of varying size, age & quality) within our household here in deep dark remote Java.

When everyone is awake and compos mentis I will take a video of them changing from portrait to landscape.
Can't promise uploaded today as it is payday for the worker's, bills to pay etc so usually pretty occupied but I will try.

I completely agree! It is a very clean and elegant solution. I am probably worrying about a non-issue regarding the javascript flaws.
