Themes & File Locations - Post ID 295378

I am confused with the themes and their locations. When I download themes from the CC website, the file is in .rsdtheme format. Opening it results in a folder with three files, including one ending in .rsd and two others. When I open SD, while I have a total of 49 themes downloaded and saved, it only shows 8 themes in the Template Chooser. Why is that? I can manually double-click on the .rsd files and open a new project in SD that way, but how can I "re-import" the themes (I don't have most of the original .rsdtheme files) and/or change the default location for the themes? I prefer keeping them on my OneDrive, but SD keeps defaulting to my D: drive. I'd like to be able to easily see all 49 themes in the Template Chooser (I love the concept, if I could get it working properly).

Thanks for your help, as always!

Hi Neil,
Are you filtering by frame work or is it set to show all?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric,
Yes, I have it set for All Frameworks and All Modes. I attached a screenshot in case that would help.

Odd, the system wouldn't allow me to upload the screenshot. I kept getting an error message with a dinosaur saying the system was undergoing maintenance. Sorry about that!

I installed the Organik template and it's now showing in my Template library in SD. Did you try reinstalling the template?

My dilemma is that CC took down many of the themes or has changed them from free to paid, and I did not keep the original .rsdtheme files. I just have the actual installed .rsd files and the related JPGs, etc. I'm able to get to them by double-clicking on the .rsd file in Windows Explorer, but I love the thumbnails that the Template Chooser displays, making it so easy to find the template I'm looking for. I'd like to see all 49 and not just the 8 that are showing up for me. I haven't found a way to 'force' Template Chooser to 'see' all 49 templates, no matter where I copy or move the files.

Have you checked your theme tab in your CC account?

Yes, it only has two listed there. Odd, huh?
