Theme chooser thumbnail file location
I'm looking for the local folder that has the .png files used for the new added themes.
For clarification - the theme chooser being the initial process of launching site designer v3.
Thanks!

Do you mean this:
windows\program files\coffeecup software\site designer\library\themes?
I wouldn't be able to tell you on a Mac.

First find out where you have located the coffeecup folder in your personal folder; then:
Coffeecup folder --->Themes--->black forrest --->html folder.
Coffeecup folder --->Themes--->black forrest --->html folder.

I'm wondering whether the request is for the purpose
(a) of using one or more of those .png files elsewhere, or
(b) of changing one or more of those .png files.
For (a) above, one can load the theme in Site Designer, click on the 'Preview on ...' icon, and use the browser's facility for saving the desired images. With most browser's that facility is, of course, by right clicking on the image in question.
For (b) above, one can load the theme in Site Designer, click on the 'Resources' icon, and find the folder of the desired images in the left-hand panel. That folder will be the one that contains those images when one exports the project to one's hard drive.
Finding the folder of the desired images as in the previous paragraph may be easier if, within the program, before opening the Resources panel, one ascertains the url of the image by selecting it in the canvas while the Elements Tree is open. If the item highlighted in the Elements Tree is a Picture or Picture Link, the url will be shown in the 'Selected Element Properties' panel. If the item highlighted is not a Picture or Picture Link, it is probably a background image of the highlighted element. In that case the Background section of the Design panel in Styles will show the url if one clicks on the button with the word 'Image' next to a pencil icon.

Further to the above, it occurs to me that perhaps the original request was for the purpose of changing a thunbnail in the theme chooser itself. To do that, I would be inclined simply to load load the theme, rename the index page and create a new index page showing the picture I wanted, and containing a link to the old index page. Saving the above as a theme would probably do the trick, though the original theme thumbnail would be there in addition.

I assumed, since Bas mentioned both 'thumbnail' and 'theme chooser', that he wanted to access the small images that show the various themes. Hence my reply. The theme images, background or inline, are very often online images, or they reside in the 'Resources' folder. They may be royalty free, or CC has obtained the right to use them.

Yes, on reflection I think your original answer may be what was wanted, but I am unsure for what purpose the location of those images might be needed. I guess that the themes themselves would be unlikely to reference images not in the Resource box..

After reading the responses; this is what is was looking for - I supposed I could of just saved the themes as ' my themes', but this was at 630am so I was not thinking clearly...
appreciate the prompt and concise responses as usual.
