I am experiencing many crashes, whenever it feels like it, on different projects.
This has happened on Win 7 and Win 10, two different computers.
The win 7 computer is about 5 years old....5GB memory....i3 micro.
The win 10 computer is about a year old.....8GB memory....i5 micro.
I usually use RSD 6 hours a day or so. The worst day for crashes was 13 crashes in the 6 hour period.
It is intermittent....sometimes may only crash 1 -2 times a day.....other times every few minutes for a while.
The project file doesn't corrupt.

RSD crashes several times each day I use it, and mostly it has simply refused to save the site I have been trying to build. But yesterday I made some progress because for several hours, even after warning me it could not save the file, my folder nevertheless showed a large file generated. I kept saving updates under numbered file names just in case of corruption. This morning I have discovered that every version of it I saved is corrupted. Please uncorrupt my file and fix this bug for me. I'm losing valuable hours.

For what it is worth always run Antimalware programs before and after you are finished working in rsd to check
you never know something in the background can cause corruptions . Hope you get your machine sorted

I'm finally getting time to tinker with RSD again and when I opened it today it prompted me to download the latest update. So I did that before doing anything else and now I'm working with V2.5, Build 2362.
I only have 2 rows of wireframe with a few elements in some columns - just trying to follow along with some tutorials and get to know the software. And periodically the workspace area will freeze up. I think it happens after I perform some "undo's" or move the slider back & forth too much. Not positive yet what is causing it.
Everything in the RSD toolbar works and the Menu Bar (File, Edit, Etc.) still works. I can go to Actions & switch between the Layout, Content, Design, Etc. panels, but can't do anything IN these panels since everything below the Menu Bar (where light gray turns to dark gray on the UI) seems frozen.
I simply close it & reopen or I go to File, Revert to Saved Project, and then it's fine.

My story is like Uncle Ronn (above) in that none of my saves seem to be corrupted. I'm using Win 7. I get no error messages..... workspace area simply doesn't respond to any input. Not sure I want to open a support ticket since it's not hurting any of my work yet - it's just a time-draining annoyance. And since I have no real "work" done yet anyway, I'm not sure attaching my file would help...and I'm not sure how my file could show a freeze. There is something that triggers the crash - too many undo's, stressing out the slider, .....something, and I think one of us just has to "catch it" to know what it is so we can tell CC. And it could be that parts of old versions are being left when I download a new version or build; that I need to completely delete RSD before downloading an update? Or Win 7 is the cause? I don't know; I just wanted to mention that a year after Uncle Ronn reported this problem, I am also having it.
Other than that, I'm loving this software!

I am curious as to what operating system everyone is using that is experiencing these crashes. I'm on a Mac running RSD 2.5 Build 2362 and haven't had any crashes lately but have experienced UI issues with the screen being messed up until I click on a different area of the screen. I've attached a couple of screenshots of the issue.

I've always had a great service from the CC crew so hopefully their fix is coming along soon.

I have been trying to learn RSD for quite some time now. For me it is a steep learning curve coming from VSD. I have the latest version of RSD running on Windows 10.

About a two months ago RSD starting acting up. First it would stopped working if I tried adjusting font attributes. Now it freezes randomly, as noted above in Chris Peterson's post, where I can't do anything in the main work-space area. Other buttons would work, but could not move forward with the project.
