I'm still learning about symbols, and RSD in general. I was wondering if you a navigation bar with a drop-down menu for smaller screens, but on larger screens your links on the menu are spread out as words, do you need to create two different symbols? A nav-small and a nav-large symbol?

Just select the row holding all the nav elements and make that the symbol. That way you will get both the small and larger menu as a symbol
