You can do that now Scott. Click Resources and then select the image you want to update and then click the button Replace File.

Which to me sounds like the app doesn't monitor it's resources on it's own, or does it?

Can we have a listed overview of our resources with the option of alphabetical listing? I'm pretty tired of seeing names cut off because it's reached it's limit of characters the app(s) seem to be able to show. A reference like img-hero-main...jpg just doesn't cut it.

It would be ideal if RSD had a feature to organise the CSS for above the fold content to be automatically inline and then for all content below the fold to be styled with CSS files that would be deferred and called in with JavaScript (as Google provides in the page speed test pages).

The benefit of this would be to build faster loading pages and higher ranking in SERPs.

I am now into my 8th website with RSD. The one thing I find sadly lacking is an edit/replace feature that enables you to search and modify an item (such as a phone number or link or button text) on multiple pages with one click. Just like almost every other HTML editor out there.

On several occasions I have had to go and edit over 20 pages manually with a small change like this. So it now takes 30 minutes to do something that should only take 30 seconds.

Hi Bruce,

Yea unfortunately that is the way it has to be done. I have heard that RSD 2.0 will have the ability to make symbols, which basically means you can turn any column, row or container into an object for the lack of better words. This will allow you to place that object across several pages and when you change it in the one place it will update across all object of the same id. This will be most helpful for header/footer/menu and other things.

I think it would be super awesome to have a button that we can select that would delete all unrelated images/files/etc that the project is not dependent on.

The reason I say this is I have a few projects that I have to admit I was lazy when deleting some pages. I did not go into the resource folder and delete the images related to that page. This wouldn't be bad and normally I could just go in and manually delete however I have a website I host that is over 300 pages that consist of clients listings of all goods he sells. I have since deleted and added several hundred pages but have not gone into the resource library and remove the related images.

I know I will have to bite the bullet and go in and just remove them by comparing to the website but it would be great if the app had a mechanic that would analyze all the image links on the page and automatically remove unassociated files.

Thanks

It would be helpful if there was a next/previous page button or a keystroke command.

Agreed. Longer term we plan to have a 'style guide' where this can be defined. For now the best workflow is to apply all styles to the 'type'. This will make sure that every newly added element of the same type uses the exact same styles, variations can then be made by applying styles to classes and an individual tweak can be applied to an ID.

My solution to this issue has been to create normal global styles in main.css manually. I am surprised there are no global attributes in RSD. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future release.

Please ... subfolders, I don't want to be tied to JUST the root folder. I like to be able to structure a website.
