well I for one cannot for the life of me see the dark row you want make stikey, but surely just make position fixed, or is that not what you need

Sorry - I could not make the row sticky so I just did the column. So the row isn't there - I tried all the variations I could think of but couldn't make the whole row work so for the moment I just made column.

Yes you can. add background color to your main column where subgrid nested
