Sticky menu with graphic scrolling...

Hi folks,

I'm trying to mimic how the logo on this website behaves in Desktop view.
https://newatlas.com/

ie I want the logo to be initially displayed, but as soon as the user scrolls down the logo goes out of view and then the menu sticks to the top of the view (does not scroll out of view).

So far, everything I've tried results in the entire header sticking or scrolling out of vew.

If anyone can offer advice, I will be extremely grateful.

Many thanks in advance. Wishing everyone who reads this a great weekend.

Charles

Bit short of time now, so I have not downloaded your file. I have a similar thing in my sharing folder, see URL in my signature. Look for 'Sticky nav on scroll' in the Navigation section. If I can probably help you further a bit later, if needed, and if nobody else have chimed in in the meantime.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Hello
the logo thingy you want to scroll out of view needs to be in a completely different container to the nav container
then the sticky nav underneath, set to "stickey" margin top=0
so the outline is

body
[div] header
Logo
[div] nav (stickey)
[ul] Nav-bar
[li] nav-items
[*] section
page-content

clear as mud probably

UPDATE
OPPS I didn't notice your project file link
The process, therefore, is a little more complicated to explain, due to the navigation component you have used.
I can either do a demonstration video showing the process, or send you back the project file with the alterations to make it how you want already done (I don't normally do that, as I am a believer in that if you do something for someone they will never learn, but in this instance, I will make an exception,, especially for someone back in the good old UK

Wayan Jaya,

I'm with you in believeing that doing something yourself helps you learn how to do it.

May I take you up on your offer of a demonstration video (or a written idiots guide, which ever is easiest for you to produce)? I would prefer to do this myself as I'm commited to learning Site Designer.

However, should I get totally stuck may I consequently still take you up on your second (incredibly kind) offer of making the alterations to the file?

Hi Wayan Jaya,

Video link and Wetransfer link both received. I've not been able to watch the video yet (weekend family time), but I'll be taking a look first thing Monday morning.

Many, many thanks for taking the time to make the video. I am so appreciative of your help.

Wishing you a great Sunday (I hope the weather is being kind to you in Bali, we have gale force winds and weather warnings here in the UK today!).
