Hi Forum
Posted earlier post but didn't quite understand what I was looking at...

Can you possibly assist in this small problem please.
I'm hoping to make a website using a similar layout to this one.

I'm referring to the blue nav panel on the left
This nav panel stays static while the rest of the page moves up or down when scrolling.
How is this done please anyone?

I'm sure it's quite simple 'when you know how'!

Set the element to position:fixed.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Eric's come to the rescue again!
Well done.
I've played around with a container and negative margins and z axis and got a panel to overlap the other rows on the left. I wonder if this is the best or only way to tackle this. I now know this is referred to as a sticky nav bar. I wasn't sure what it was called before. I'm basically trying to creat the same layout as the website I referred to but do my own thing with it.
