Still figuring out RSD. Read tutorial about Flex layout.
Tutorial says "A flex layout is created by setting the display property of a container element to flex."
How exactly is that done?
CC's documentation is so frustrating.
Thanks
setting display property to flex -...
By doing exactly what it says right there Galen.
- Select the Column or Container
- Go to Design pane
- Scroll down to the POSITION section and for Display change it to Flex.

Easy as 1-2-3. ; )

On the Design pane scroll to the Position section. There you find the Display control that you set to 'flex'. Then all the flex controls will show up below.

Hope this helps!
(Seems we posted at about the same time, leaving my post here since it shows the different flex controls)

The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.
Thank you.
Those steps are clear and easy to follow.
I did a search of your Flex tutorial on the word "display". Found no such steps.
If you are referring to this:
"The cool thing is that if you're viewing this example in Responsive Site Designer, you can easily play with the flex property values and see how the elements behave. Go ahead, click on the picture above to select the flex parent container. Then, on the design pane, scroll down to the position section. The flex controls are located right below the display drop down."
Well, it's not too clear. I assumed that meant the properties were already set to Flex.
I did a search of the RSD forum and also Knowledge Base using "setting display property" and then "display property".
No luck.
Don't get me wrong, please. I have almost all your software and I enjoy using it. I'm just a hobbyist. I just don't care for the help system you all have developed.
Thank you again for your help.
