Setting background color to transparent

New to Site Designer but not coding and other similar products such as OE.

I am trying to set the background color of the standard navbar component to transparent or at least black.

I select the container and go to styles/background and see a blue background. I would like to change this to transparent. I have fiddled with this for a long time and am not seeing the voodoo magic that makes this possible.

Cheers!!

What framework are you using?

foundation
bootstrap
or one of the others

If its the bootstrap standard menu

you need select the container with the 4 classes

delete the class
bg-primary

Then you can apply any colour you desire (or leave it transparent

Ta! Both answers are perfect!

I got what I wanted.

For the record, I chose this app over all the others because of how well it works and is familiar to hackers who code. I s*ck at pretty. This app will help me to s*ck much less. [insert cheese eating grin]

Thanks for your help.
