Hi guys,
I want to override Bootstraps cunninlgy difficult (and pointless) text format settings for the whole site. And not have to set this for each tag: headings 123456 etc, paragraphs, link text etc etc etc.

The old way would have been to set these css tags as part of defining the <body> tag in the site css. You would set the font family, size, colour, paragraph etc. But how to do this in SD4?

I particulary want to change the link text from that blue colour to the sites colours. Hover colour too for all site links.

Anyone have any ideas? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Select Apply to
"All elements of this type" for any element you wish to apply a style to. Thereafter all those elements will appear as you styled them whenever you insert one.

Thanks again Wayan. :)
So there is no single place where the text for the whole site can be set? Each header and text element, has to be set individually?

How can I set the link text colour?

There is no place to select the default settings but it's easy enough
I thought I had explained it

insert your element (anything h1,2,3,4,5,6 text, link etc (even if its on a blank page which can be deleted after

go to the "styles" tab, slide on down to the "Apply Styles" section
choose " to all elements of this type"

Style away to your hearts content

All elements that you have applied that to when added to any page will appear as you styled it.
Doing it this way also keeps the "class" blank,, so if you ever decide you want to have it different styling simply add a class name & re-style it as you want using the apply styles to the class.

There is a silent movie on the way, which also shows setting the width of the page by setting the body width (although too late for your present project,)

Uploading as I type
keep a lookout for the link

This one shows applying a different style using a class name

If I know that I want all certain elements to be the same, I usually make a blank page first, add the elements and style away using "to all elements of this type' then once completed delete that page.
