I bought the Materialize theme / component collection and noticed that it takes about one minute to load 23 pages.
My MacBook is not a slug (Intel i7, 16 GB memory, SSD storage), but this is the first time I have loaded more than 1 or 2 pages in a project. Deleting a symbol or deleting pages is a very slow process.
Is this the OSX version of SD V3.5, the sheer number of pages or Bob's components collection.
Is it the same with the Windows version?
Hennie,
I've been using Materialize with RSD v3, and now 3.5 since it's release. In general I've noticed a slightly longer than average load screen on my laptop where I do about 85% of my Web development. Where on my desktop which is significantly better. I have not noticed any difference. Specifically with the Materialize theme I do notice both on my laptop, and desktop a healthy wait.
The materialize theme has a SIGNIFICANT amount of information between the HTML elements, and ELEMENT STATES. I would assume, and this is a 100% guess. This has more to do with the shear size of the theme, and not V3.5.
