When the scrollbar appears in IE it messes my centering leaving more white space on the left than on the right by the size of the scrollbar. Chrome doesn't have this problem and when the width is reduced and a scrollbar becomes necessary, everything in the page is still perfectly centered.

Can you share a link to the page so we can see the issue?

Also, please clarify if you mean thge horizontal or the vertical scrollbar. And by IE, do you mean non-Edge? In Edge, it seems that a transparent vertical scrollbar will appear.
