Hi Twinstream, I just try to follow MDL ( https://material.io ) metaphor in a lot of what I do. Keeping things as simple as I can... There is a material framework I use a lot as well, wish this was in RSD ( http://materializecss.com )

Kind regards,

Kelvin

You can add materialize to RSD by adding the css, js, and fonts folders to your resources. Then link in your page settings the css to the Head and the js to the Footer. I did a simple test with waves button by adding the materialize classes and it transformed it once I previewed in the browser. I experimented a little but the lack of visual designing while in RSD does not help me see what I am applying. I may look into the js a little more now that I understand a smidgen more about it.

I use Pinegrow for developing Material Design, https://pinegrow.com has Materialize CSS built-in as well as Bootstrap and Foundation. It's an amazing tool. I am liking the control I get in RSD though for doing things without having to jump through too many hoops. My only niggles so far with RSD is the implementation of framework components, would be much better to just drag and drop defaults then modify visually me thinks.

When I started using RSD I used to drag and drop the elements but now for both the framework components found in the library and the elements I use the Inspector to select where I want to add to and then click the + for component or click the element which works without a hitch.

I have to get used to doing that, for now, it feels too much like an extra step that should just be there. I tried the TopBar Nav and was disappointed with the way it works. I know I can just head over to Zurb and grab the code and paste to get the defaults, that also seems like an extra step.

How do you like Materialize CSS?

I just got thru another design in RSD, you can see it here http://www.rm.design-on2.com/04/

More to come tomorrow :-)

Cheers!
