I purchased RSD on the 4th of July and havent even downloaded it yet. Does anyone know if the software has been updated since then? I know CC charges for updates now, which is perfectly fine, however I'm really feeling buyers remorse because I should have waited until I actually needed the software to purchase it, because now I think I may have to pay for an update. Does anyone know how much updates cost or how you purchase them? Thank you.

To answer your question, yes you will have to pay for the update. What that price is will be announced when the software is released. If you have already purchased Foundation Framer and Bootstrap Builder, RSD v2 will be free.
