RSD Forms

I notice RSD has quite a few form features, but I've never used them due to external third-party solutions and difficulty understanding the coding required to make these forms work in other platforms.

I'm wondering... if I was to use the RSD form features, what might be required? Custom JS? Might seem like an obvious 'no', but just to be sure - does RSD offer any intelligence to make these work (i.e. send information to a designated email address)? Am I missing something here?

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There is no solutions to this within RSD. As far as I know, it should be possible to create the same form in WFB, just the fields, I mean, and then use the php scripts from that in RSD. But I can't tell you how, you need to wait for Eric. ;)

I've done quite a few forms using the form builders html and js and then using my own back end php scripts to process it.
I'm currently working on a new project that has a mixture. The new project requires a php login so I found a new one online and placed all of the needed form elements with RSD. I did place the php scripts after export but I'm sure you could use html elements for some of it and set them to display none. This project needs to be up and running quickly so I'm taking a few shortcuts and using the form builder for a few forms that are being used to build information databases that are then used in a custom html table Form that retrieves the data. The html table form will be used to track attendance at a weekly scuba diving event where various points are acquired during each event.
As Inger stated you could use the form elements in RSD and then grab the scripts from from the form builder for the backend. It really depends on your need and the difficulty level you want to deal with. I can give you pointers but your going to need to figure out what way you want to go and then grab up the needed files for that direction.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
