RSD Export Stripping Out Formatting?

I have been trying and trying to insert a multi-page PDF report in an iFrame on my site to no avail, even after Suzanne offered suggestions, so gave up and simply recreated an abbreviated version in HTML on a page using RSD. I could never get the iFrame/PDF to view properly on an iPhone.

The new iteration looked great on my PC but after exporting it to the server and viewing it on the Net, as you can see, it lost all its formatting of box border highlight, centering of things like images and headings, font sizes and so on and looks awful! You can view the result at: https://www.beaconinspectionservices.co … eport.html

Upon further investigation I noticed that the Report page is not the only one with the issue. From the Index page, select Home Inspection Report and a drop down reveals a miniature report image which is a link to the real report page, and it is centered perfectly on my PC, but on the Net it is left justified.

Also, it seems to be only affecting just data/formatting below the box stating we wear covid masks and the Image stating One Less Thing to Worry About, as far as I can tell.

I've tried everything I can think of including disabling the Win 10 Defender in case it was affecting outgoing data but still no luck. If someone can explain how to find and send just one page of an RSD project, I'd be happy to do that for you to try. I found attempting to upload the entire project file as an attachment here causes the system to reject it. Too large a file I suppose.

Any ideas? I'm at my wits end!

Thanks in advance!

You can use dropbox to upload a file to. Then place the link here in this post. One page or the whole site doesn't matter with Dropbox

If you want to send one page of the project, I'd make a copy, and from the copy delete the irrelevant pages. However, It seems to be not so easy to determine which pages are irrelevant. If you want to send the whole lot, you can use Dropbox or similar, and post the URL.

Hi Robert I used responsive content slider app to put something like you are talking about on my site. I have bid proposals I sed to customers and they are wordpad files but they could be pdf's. This link is to one of the wordpad files that I translated into a responsive content slider file. https://workhorsepainting.com/competiti … index.html The attachment is one of the wordpad file bids that you change to a slidshow slide then each new pg would be another slide in the presentation.

Greg, what is the app you used. Seems like it could do the trick. Does it work on devices as small as an iPhone?

Thanks.

Regarding the accordion panels, there are a couple of best practices you should follow:

The ID naming: it would be easier If you name them 'panel1', 'panel2' etc, and the keep the numbering in sequence, as they appear down the page.

The paragraphs inside the panels: The inline text editor is supposed to be used for just a word or a short expression that you want to have appear differently from the rest. What you have in e.g. the 'What they are saying' panel, should rather be divided in more paragraphs, each with a different class name, and then set the desired font for each. Otherwise it would simply be too many nested spans to keep track of.
Also, this particular panel, 'what they are saying' is appearing twice, once formatted and the other instance unformatted.

I'll continue to check it out, in between when I have some time.

Another thing that strikes me is that you have added support for grid, but I can't find a single grid element after having checked nearly all your pages. I fail to understand why you need grid support. You are building with flex, and that is ok. If you have a flex container (flex parent in 1st generation), the elements inside it will be 'flex children (2nd generation'). But if they also have children (3rd generation), they also have to be made flex parents.
(The 'generation' stuff is only mentioned to clarify, you don't put that in any code ;) )

As a consequence of what I said above, I would make the following changes for the container 'main-container'. See the attachment.
