There appears to be errors when RSD generates social media icons for Goodreads and FourSquare.

For example - Creating a FourSquare social media icon with my User ID of "grumbledude" generates the following incorrect link: https://foursquare.com/user/grumbledude when the actual link should be https://foursquare.com/grumbledude (sans /user)

The same goes for Goodreads where the RSD social media icon generates https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/GrumbleDude as the erroneous URL when https://www.goodreads.com/GrumbleDude (sans /user/show) is actually correct.

Is there any way to correct or work around this issue?

I think you need to use your ID instead of your username. If you look at all your followers on FourSquare at https://foursquare.com/grumbledude?all=followers, each one of those does go to a /user/ID number if you click on their names (as opposed to just /username). So as an example, use 123498251 which is K Nelsons page.

The same would go for Goodreads. Using one of your friends, C. Tinney, use the ID 38703077-chris-tinney and it will take you to his page.

Still no luck, checking my Foursquare followers I notice that about half have user IDs of the /user/1234567890 format, and half are simply /username - so have had zero luck extracting what might be a unique numerical ID for my FourSquare account. This suggests that at some point FourSquare may have switched from purely numerical IDs?

On the other hand with Goodreads - if I extract a user number, for example the address of my author page ( reached via https://www.goodreads.com/GrumbleDude ) is https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/91771.Dylon_Whyte However, if I enter "91771" as the User ID for the Social Media icon the link generated is https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/91771 - and if you click on this link it takes you to the profile of a user named "Nicole" from New York.

Entering "91771.Dylon_Whyte" generates the link https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/91771.Dylon_Whyte - which still leads to Nicole in NYC and using just "Dylon.Whyte" generates the link https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/Dylon_Whyte - that leads to a Goodreads 404 Page Not Found error.

Check that - Found my FourSquare UserID number which is conveniently hidden under "Edit Profile" -> Settings at the bottom of the page. So FourSquare solved, Goodreads still a mystery - thanks again! Dylon
